I have been dealing with a crapload with life and I don't know what is going on outside of that. I am assumming I am still rooming with DAgron who posted a bit ago but I don't know if she has now reserved a room. And I would like two more roommates at least because I can't afford to pay half of the room. I am nearing panic mode because I am still dealing with this life stuff. Jarrow can vouch for my awesomeness and if you want to room with me that would be fantastic! :-D also I can't make the reservation because I don't have a credit card. :-P Kristine! I promise I will get you all taken care of, bb. Fear not! We'll get you in a full room. (The "with awesome people" part goes without saying, because, come on, this is FaberryCon.) You go do the life stuff and don't fret about this. *big hugs* |

Kendra, coming in thursday morning, staying until monday. I would also like a full room if i can square it away, I do have a credit card if it needs to be put in someones name, though i wouldn't prefer it if i could. I'm also going to Brittanacon so any help in staying this time would be useful

Hey everyone! Like Kendra, I am undertaking attending BrittanaCon and FaberryCon. (Though, I'm the Con Chair for BrittanaCon so I kinda have to go. LOL) I don't have a credit card (God Bless my Con staff that's been helping out with BCon in that regard :-D) so I can't book a hotel for FaberryCon on my own. My hope is to get there first thing Friday morning but I have to leave on Sunday (probably try to leave during the dinner break) so if someone needs a roommate to cover costs for Friday and Saturday night, I'm available. I'm only 5' so I don't take up a lot of space. Does that help? LOL I'm heading over to the sign-up genius thing as well but Jarrow very rightly suggested I come here too so I can get to know people that need roommates. I am SUPER looking forward to my first FaberryCon and can't wait to meet everyone!  - Alex |

Okay, hi people! I've compiled all the information so far from everyone who has posted to this thread, and I've done some matchmaking for you! Here are my suggestions. You are free to say no, of course, but I tried to find a situation that would best work for everyone involved, based on schedules and preferences. We'll have more people come in later, so we can always reshuffle if this arrangement doesn't appeal to you. Party Room #1:- Dak - Lissa - Jess - Kendra (all of you are Thursday through Sunday nights) a 4-person room:- diaryreadingcat (Wed-Sun) - pintsizedprinter (Wed-Sun) - Kristine (Wed-Sun) - DAgron01 (Th-Sat) *Note: I can help you calculate exact costs for everyone, since Jamie isn't there for the same number of nights.a 4-person room:- emilyfreakingstark (Wed - forever) - Charlotte (Wed-Sun) - AJ (Wed - Sun) *Note, I can all but guarantee someone else will come along later, so let's keep this 4th spot open for now.Krizten and Effy, I'm still working on finding people to be with you in the party room. I'm confident it will happen, don't worry! There are certainly more people coming to the con who just haven't spoken up yet. allthrumyribs, because you're only staying 2 nights, you'll be easy to squeeze in somewhere. I'm keeping you in my back pocket for now, but I promise to get you placed in a great room! And, hey, if it comes to it, I'll just put you 3 together! Let me know what y'all think of that! When everyone in a room agrees, we'll get it on the Sign-Up Genius page to make it official! No objections from Pintsized and me! We're looking forward to it! Now we only have to figure out a way to get from our new workplace (north of Toronto, at Georgian Bay) to Newark in time, haha. If push comes to shove we'll only be arriving thursday morning at 5.30am. But, you know, i'm only going to start panicking if we really find no other way to get to Newark wednesday evening ... |

Jarrow, Effy & I are only there two nights, since we live in the city & we'll be staying at my place Thursday night after the tour, so if allthrumyribs wants to pile into our party room that could work out for all of us since we're all staying the same days!

Aha! Yes, that does make sense Thanks for clarifying! I think it should work fine for the 3 of you to room together. Here's the logistics on this end -- the party rooms are already paid for, for 4 nights. If they're only going to be used for 2 nights, then I'm still out $350 for the unused nights. So, I'm hoping that we can find other people staying 4 nights to put into the party room instead, and we put the 3 of you into a regular room for the 2 nights. But, if not, then something is better than nothing, and we'll go with the original plan (you in the party room). Hopefully that makes sense. I can reserve a regular room on the side just in case and cancel it if we need to (at no penalty). I appreciate y'all being flexible about it! |

Hi, I'm Dee (or HeadphonesD/inspiteofbalance/shippity....) and some of you already know me from West or from twitter/tumblr/hangouts/youtube/etc. I'm thrilled to be coming to North and also thrilled that my buddy Alicia (LDfreedomTB) is also attending (she was at West too). We're both easy going and friendly, she's from Australia, I'm from Europe, anything else you'd like to know - just ask. We're both arriving already on Tuesday and looking for one or two roommates to cut down on costs. |

Totally understand, if you could reserve the regular room for just in case that would be awesome, since I don't have a credit card I could use to reserve it, but yeah, as long as there's a place to sleep & it's as cost effective for everyone involved as possible Effy & I are down for whatever. |
