Hopefully there's more than one of you. :P I'm all for outgoing folks being everywhere to break up the reluctance to initiate conversation- small talk may not be my forte (but then again, deep conversation isn't either; it opens the door for OPINIONS and CONFLICT, and... I'm happy to avoid those at all costs, even if it means never having a potentially amazing conversation, haha) but it's super useful in getting to know people.
Welcome to the boards, Vanessa! And to your first con experience! :)
Side note, I'll be very disappointed, now, if I don't hear "I'm going to hug you now" at least a handful of times over the course of the con.

Indeed. I think it'll be a nice mix of people - if anything we always have ice breakers - Faberry and Fandoms and such. And welcome Vanessa and hello Jess! (I'm an INFJ, and I live it to the core. ALLOW ME TO TAKE CARE OF EVEERRYYONEEE!) And yeah, I'm hoping for people to slide some Faberry quotes into every day sentence. 10 dollars we have a bathroom scene between people. Or everyone.

Assumptions, assumptions. That was rude of me. I apologize.
We should break out singing IFP/U in one of the bathrooms. Because acoustics. And continuity. >.> I'm sure one or all of us will be drunk enough to do this at some point. Haha

I'm all for slapping people in any kind of bathroom...
Wait... That didn't come out right...
I feel I need to do the Myer Briggs test to assign myself those letters. It seems important right now.

omg you guys.
It's past 2 in the morning but I feel it's important for you all to know that, as it turns out, Vanessa and I have been 15 MINUTES APART all week. And, upon discovering this, quickly took advantage of it in a sort of pre-con meetup thingie. We just hung out at the local Taco Bell and talked for omg 5 hours. Because she is awesome. And now we're even more psyched about the con, if that was even possible.
So yes: big thumbs up to Vanessa! Who is awesome! WOOOO.

I can't believe we lived in the same town. It's a small Faberry world indeed. And this obviously goes without saying (but I will anyway) you are awesome, but everyone already knows this. I'm just so ready for it to be February!

Hello everyone! I'm Vanessa. This is my first con and I am super excited! Umm... let's see junior in college. I live in ATL so I commend all of you that are traveling from far away. Way to commit Faberrians, just another reason I love this community. Welcome to the insanity. Cons are pretty great in general, but I think this one is going to be especially fun since it's so small. If nothing else, it'll be a fun social experiment where we can witness first hand what happens when you put 20 introverts in a room together. Lol Thanks! I'm excited to see what happens. I feel like once you get a shipper talking it's hard to get them to stop lol... I don't know maybe that's just me.

Well, we've already have one person admit to not being an introvert, so that's what you get for assuming things about people on the internet. Extroverts. That's what you get for your assumptions. Extroverts everywhere with their extroverting! It took me a long time to work out what ATL meant, but it's ok, I got there in the end. Are you prepared to take on the role of con navigator? Will you be able to direct to the tacos? Let's go get some tacos! Hi! I can totally be navigator. I will lead you to the tacos fellow Faberrians. This is my personal favorite www.taqueriadelsol.com/ Also Farm Burger is truly a revelation www.farmburger.net/ It is the best burger joint in Atlanta hands down. Flip Burger Boutique is a close second and they have a nutella & marshmallow milkshake that is amazing.

I've spent the vast majority of my time looking into restaurants and stuff in Atlanta trying to hold my jaw up and the enthusiastic cussing in. I had NO idea Atlanta was so dang cool??? I mean, I guess you gotta keep it cool to make up for the weather, which has always been a deterrent for me, but I may have to move down there after all!

Thought that said restraints... Which would make things interesting.
Keep it consensual!

I know this is late, because I've been stranded in a huge city without wifi access (I realize that sounds ridiculous)...but am I the extrovert y'all were talking about earlier?

Hi everyone!
I haven't been sure whether I could afford to come down, so I have been very quiet, but now that I am reasonably certain, let me introduce myself.
I have a given name, but it's kind of lame, so I'll probably just ask everybody to call me Pouty, which has become my fandom name.
I write a bit, but mostly read the works this talented fandom pumps out. I currently live in Boston. I'm a shy extrovert. Um. That's about. Hello.
